The clean side never gets touched. The bucket is transparent, so you can watch one side stay blue and the other go brown while you work.
Will the bucket leak?

The drain plug can leak if it's not seated properly, which is the most common complaint across this category. Seat the plug firmly before filling, and check it's seated again after you drain. We fill the bucket, sit it on hardwood, and lift it to show dry floor underneath during testing, but the plug must be seated correctly.
